Analytical Engine



In 1834, Charles Babbage began paintings on a new calculating device, called the Analytical Engine. Babbage was hoping that this new machine would be a long way more powerful than the distinction Engine. Lovelace observed his paintings with interest. She began thinking about what the new gadget is probably capable of, and started out studying the arithmetic underpinning it. The Analytical Engine was in no way finished, however this element become created by Babbage's son, Henry Babbage.
