3D-revealed ear shape

This picture suggests an ear structure revealed with the new bioprinter. In experiments, the researchers implanted such ear systems underneath the skin of mice to peer if the shape tissue might survive. They located that the systems did live to tell the tale, and had even advanced blood vessels by means of  months after implantation, thanks to unique microchannels published all through the systems.
